Hi, I'm running on a Mac OSX 10.4 and I'm operating behind a home router over wifi, and before i even try to authenticate the D-Touch software, it tells me "Authentication impossible, network error" and if i try to authenticate anyway, it "closes unexpectedly". Is that a result of being behind the router? and is there any kind of port forwarding or something similar i can do if it is?

my networking knowledge is limited at best, but any help would be cool, I'm really excited to try it out (especially in my band to fill in our lack of a drummer)

Hello.

We just released a new version of the software. I suggest that you update to it.

Do you know if you have a firewall on? The d-touch drum machine uses the same type of networking as your standard web browser, so port forwarding should not be an issue (unless you do that for your browser).

You may want to try and notice any windows that ask you to allow the application to send data..

Please let us know if you solve this. If not, please provide us more details about your configuration and we'll try to help.

Ok, so now it activates with no problem, but when i try to run the actual drum machine it tells me that it can't open it and asks me for a program to run it. It's also listed as a Unix executable file rather than an application, I tried adding the ".app" extension but it just gave me an error. still running OSX 10.4

Hello Rattierevolution.

I am sorry we do not have a machine running 10.4 to try. We'll try to get access to one.

In the mean time, can you please try the following and let us know what happens?

Go to Applications/Utilities and open the terminal there. This will open a command prompt. Assuming you installed the drum machine in /Applications/, type:

cd /Applications/d-touch_drum_machine[enter] ./d-touch_drum_machine[enter]

Thanks!

Hi, still trying to get it to work with no luck, when i ran it through Terminal it told me:

self: /Applications/d-touch_drum_machine/ pwd /Applications/d-touch_drum_machine/.otherApps ./d-touch_drum_machine: line 10: 3001 Segmentation fault ./ADTDrumMachine tyler-werenskjolds-computer:/Applications/d-touch_drum_machine tylerwerenskjold$

it doesn't mean much to me, but maybe it'll help someone figure this one out? Thanks for the help so far

I would also like to run d-touch on my MacBook Pro. I'm running Tiger 10.4.1, and am experiencing the same trouble.

Any recommendations, updates?

Thanks for your hard work.

Hello.

OS X 10.4 is still not supported. Sorry.

Can you please let us know if the problem affects both the drum machine and the sequencer or just the drum machine?

Thanks.
